Functional Cognition
Functional cognition is how an individual utilizes and integrates his or her thinking and processing skills to accomplish everyday activities in clinical and community living environments. Occupational therapy leads the way in screening, evaluation, and intervention to address functional cognition in clients with a variety of diagnoses across the lifespan.
