Browse AJOT by the AOTA Taxonomy
AOTA is working to improve the user experience by assigning terms from an occupational therapy–specific taxonomy to all the content it produces, including AJOT articles.
The taxonomy terms below are organized by Sections, labeled A through H. These sections are further divided into main categories (in bold) and subcategories.
In assigning categories, the most salient aspects of each article have been considered; that is, readers will find few articles under "interventions" but many articles under "interventions to support occupations." Clicking on “ADLs” below should surface content that truly focuses on ADLs. The goal is to help readers quickly find the content they are looking for.
Note: This taxonomy was implemented for AJOT in July 2021 with the publication of Volume 75, Supplement 1. Content published before that time has not been assigned taxonomy terms and will not be surfaced through this page. Search results will become more robust as additional content is published.
