Abstract

This study furthers research on programs based on self-determination principles to support adults with intellectual disabilities (ID) to attain competitive employment goals. It suggests that implementing the Self-Determined Career Development Model can result in increased self-rated performance of and satisfaction with meaningful activities in adults with ID.
