Abstract
This article presents a model that is designed to assist in the decision-making process of applying technologically based solutions to problems that arise from functional deficits. The model links task analysis with functional assessment of the client. The task analysis identifies the performance component of the required task, and the functional assessment identifies the disabilities that hinder the client in performing the task. The gaps between the performance components of the tasks and the client’s skills are indicators for technological intervention.
