Abstract
Productivity and quality of care are two health care issues practicing occupational therapists face daily in their work environments. The challenge of increasing productivity without sacrificing quality and of documenting the achievement of these dual goals is posed in this month’s column by Patricia C. Ostrow and Barbara E. Joe. We are informed on how to acquire the skills needed to meet these challenges in negotiating the environments in which we work.
